Only 20 more pre-orders for a Barkeater Lake Book!

That’s right folks!

Amazingly, we’re down to just 22 more chances to reserve a signed and numbered copy of “Welcome to Barkeater lake”, including an original sketch of your favorite BL characters.

Once again, a hearty “Thank You” to all of you who have pre-ordered so far. I’m very excited about this first book and I hope you all like it, as well as the new site and storylines. We met with the web guys yesterday and plans are rapidly moving forward.

For those who still wish to pre-order the book, the button to purchase to your right.

Also, keep in mind that even when the 250 signed editions are gone, this pre-order price includes shipping to anywhere in the world. Once the new www.barkeaterlake.com is up, shipping will be extra, so take advantage of this opportunity while you can.

That’s my sales pitch.

Back to our regular scheduled Friday.

Cheers everyone!

Corey

Well, Hey! Who knew Corey Pandolph had a website, a MySpace page, a blog ... He's just so much younger and hipper than I am! (I taught computer to my peers in high school in 1969, when the faculty couldn't figure out how, but I haven't exactly kept up since then.)

I never would have thought of it until I got frustrated not being able to see the Jan.6 cartoon (will Banks move to NYC and have an office by mine just off Wall Street, or won't he??). So I googled and found all this stuff.

Including The Book!!! But it's been selling like hotcakes (okay, like very special hotcakes) so fast that I can't calculate whether I'll get a signed copy if I buy right now, a good 10 hours or so after the news was posted about only 22 being left. Won't I feel like a putz if I pay $20 and end up being 3 customers late?! In fact, No, because I still get free shipping, and I can always just read the thing. Still, I'm writing (and hoping to make at least some impression) in the desperate hope that I'll not only get a signed copy but perhaps win a prize.

And now I'd better stop, before I get too obnoxious, for in the same hope. Good night, and good luck!

I'm right with you Andy. While the signed version would be sweet, I'm just glad BL isn't going away forever. (That dastardly Sabrina...)

Way to go on the site, and good luck.

Is it just me or is barkeaterlake.com having some trouble? I tried to go there this morning and it kept redirecting me to comics.com, which then kept redirecting me to barkeaterlake.com.

I got dizzy!

Well, heck... did I miss out? I was looking for the button to buy, but it doesn't appear to exist.

Too bad I never found this site before... I actually LOOKED for it, too ;(

To buy the book hit the pay pal button on the main page. If you want to read the comic from 1-6-2007 just click the comic by my name or go to my profile (link should be good 'til February).

I put my order in on Friday. Will we get some confirmation that we are one of the fortunate few?

Sorry blogantine,

It'd be too time consuming for me figure out who got the first 250 and then let them know. Think of it this way: when the book arrives, it'll be like winning the lottery if it's signed. Yes... exactly like winning the lottery.

I can tell you if you ordered anytime before about noon on Saturday, you're in.

Thanks for your support everyone!

Cheers,

Corey

Corey, thanks for the reply, I know you must be busy.

I'll be happy with the book either way, and since I ordered on Friday, I feel pretty good about getting one of the "winning" books.

Off to buy lottery tickets!

It looks like I got a Golden Ticket! Whoo Hoo! My confirm email timed at 9:54 am on Saturday!

I am jazzed for this book. (Yes, "jazzed")
